Tasting Notes – Story 2022 wine

  • Aroma: clean, vibrant, youthful and fresh; a feast of red and blue fruits (currant, raspberry, blackberry, black cherry) with a hint of smokiness and toasted notes

  • Palate: dry, medium acidity, moderate alcohol; currant, raspberry, blackberry, black cherry; medium body

  • Finish: slightly longer than medium

Food Pairing

  • Serving temperature: 15–18 °C

  • Recommended dishes: lightly seasoned, not overly spicy dishes made from leaner red meats

How it was made:

The grapes for Story 2022 were hand-harvested at the end of September 2022 from different parts of the Szekszárd wine region: Görögszó and Baranya-völgy. After fermentation and rackings, the individual lots were aged in oak barrels of different sizes and toast levels, while some portions were kept reductively, for a total of 18 months. At the end of the ageing period, we blended the components in their ideal proportions to create the final wine.
